Estelle's career was revived when she was signed by soul star John Legend.  In 2005, Sway beat US heavyweights 50 Cent and The Game to win the hip-hop award at the Mobos, and he was named best UK hip-hop act at the BET Awards in the US in 2006.  Sway's debut album This Is My Demo was also nominated for the Mercury Music Prize in the same year.

Spice Girl Melanie Brown is auctioning off the contents of her former home in the UK to raise money for charity.  Items on offer include a "Scary Spice" leopard print outfit, the coat used in the Stop video and five Roberto Cavalli outfits from the Spices' recent tour.  "I hope that people have fun bidding on a piece of me," said the singer, who is now based in Los Angeles.  Proceeds from the online auction, which runs until 26 October, will go to children's cancer charity Clic Sargent.  "As a mother, it was important to me to be a part of an organisation that provides clinical, emotional and financial support to children and young people with cancer and their families," said Brown.
